What is origami?
Origami is the art of paper-folding which originates from many Eastern countries. The name derives from Japanese words ori("folding") and kami("paper"). Traditional origami consists of folding a single sheet of square paper (often with multicolored sides) into a unique sculpture without the use of cutting, gluing, taping, or even marking it.
Studies have shown that folding origami can decrease stress and anxiety. Some therapists have also found that origami helps with low self esteem, ADHD, autism, and other psychological conditions.
